5th June 2009

Whale sharks are high on the must-see list of many divers, their curiosity piqued by the mystery and magnificence that surrounds the biggest of the ocean’s fishes. One thing is certain and that’s where there is lots of plankton, whale sharks are likely to follow.

It is thus in the plankton rich waters of the Maldives, cruising with liveaboard MY Haveyli, that Dive The World is offering you the opportunity to have that sought-after whale shark encounter.

MY Haveyli is a 30m, wooden-hulled beauty, which will host a dive-action packed itinerary that includes the Ari Atoll, where plankton abound, whale shark encounters are common and you too might have a whale shark interlude all of your own.

In addition to exploring the abundance of sea life feasting on the nutrients the sweeping currents carry to the Maldives, your liveaboard will also pass through the South Male Atoll, where you will dive the sharks of the Maldives.
