Brits Report Trouble-Free Travel in Thailand

17th July 2010

Have you been putting off your holiday diving in Thailand due to safety concerns? Well nothing beats statistics for putting your mind at rest. You will be happy to hear the news is all good in the latest report from the British Embassy in Bangkok.

Summarising findings in the ‘British Behaviour Abroad Report’, Quinton Quayle, the British Ambassador, states most of the over 800,000 British visitors and 50,000 British residents in Thailand have a trouble-free experience in the country. In addition, the vast majority of the casualties were due to natural causes.

That is a substantial reason to forget your fears and dive into your holiday planning right away, don’t you think? Soon you will be in your scuba gear, diving the healthy reefs at Similan Islands and possibly spot the first whale shark of the season!
