The Amazing DeepSee Submersible Tour!

Would you like to dive deeper than you’ve ever done before? Do you like the idea of seeing marine creatures that live at depths beyond the recreational dive limits? Well now you can at Cocos Island.

Dive The World’s very own Sheldon Hey was lucky enough to experience this privilege and you can read his first hand amazing account here: DeepSee Submersible Tour.

Treat yourself to this fabulous tour and observe amazing creatures you have never encountered before and marvel at the extraordinary underwater landscape.

DeepSee is a custom-built, 1 atmosphere submarine, designed to carry 1 pilot and 2 passengers to a depth of up to nearly 475m (1,500 feet).
This state-of-the-art submarine is stationed on the MV Argo liveaboard which runs regular diving cruises to Cocos Island.

Depending on how deep you descend you will be treated to the sight of different and unique underwater critters, as well as masses of schooling hammerhead sharks, mobula rays and huge tuna fish. It is also possible to observe endemic fish such as the Cocos batfish, that are not seen at normal recreational diving depths.

Add New Cocos Boats To Your Diving Itinerary

Are you a discerning diver looking for a challenge that will reward like no other? We are proud to say we can now get you liveaboard diving Cocos Island in luxury and style. Cocos Island is visited exclusively by liveaboards and as the dive sites can often be demanding, you will find yourself in good company: only competent diving enthusiasts, looking forward to intense pelagic action and shoals of hammerhead sharks.

Dive The World introduces the following new Cocos Liveaboards:

The MV Argo is a combination of expedition vessel and luxury liveaboard yacht. This huge 39m boat only accommodates 18 divers, so you will have tons of space to relax in-between dives.

Do you want to dive to 300 metres? Then hop into their DeepSee submersible for the dive of your life!

For an exceedingly stable cruise, choose the 36m MV Sea Hunter. Catering especially to underwater photographers, you will have your own personal camera storage shelf.

When not diving with the manta and mobular rays, you could take a spin in a sea kayak.

The MV Undersea Hunter might sound smaller than her sister boats, but you will only have 13 other guests to share her 2 dining areas and 80m² dive deck!

With 2 Dive Masters at your service and 2 dive dinghies to get you to the best spots, your diving pleasure is inevitable.

You will find all the modcons you need on Okeanos Aggressor who was fully restored in 2010. Your safety is paramount, all divers are equipped with personal EPIRB’s and there is an onboard defibrillator.

After your dive relax with a complimentary beer or glass of wine. Then recline in the luxury of your en-suite cabin with your personal TV and DVD player.
